The tour was around 4 miles circling some of the areas around Westerpark, so there wasn't a lot of traffic and majority of the trail had bike lanes.

  Pim was so nice! He was really patient and catered to our needs and comfort level on this rainy windy and cold day.
He brought along Hermanito (his adorable puppy)... read more which my girls & I just loved. Whenever we stopped they loved running around with this ship, smart and adorable little canine!
Even though it was cold and wet at times, we took breaks as needed to warm up and get snacks, so that we could trek on and relish riding through beautiful parks and paths.. seeing the fall foliage along the way was magical!
Also, there were many cool landmarks which were not only visually cool and/or beautiful, but had amazing stories behind them (reflecting the ingenuity and pragmatism of the Dutch people.)
Another really neat sight was taking the bikes on the ferry to the shipyards (converted to art studios since 1986).
We would 100% do this again with Pim on our next visit! Definitely the highlight of our trip so far.. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

  Great tour! Weather was horrible, but try ponchos that they provided were life savers. Also, this is a great tour but note that it’s not in central Amsterdam.

Bicyclists in Amsterdam can be a little scary and certainly intimidating but we felt incredibly safe and comfortable on this tour.

I highly recommend this tour for the beginning of a trip to Amsterdam as it gets you more comfortable being on a bike in the city if that’s what you plan on doing on your own.
